Nomura Services India, (Powai) supports Nomura’s businesses around the world. Powai’ s world class capabilities in trading support, research, information technology, financial control, operations, risk management and legal support have played a key role in facilitating Nomura’s global operations and are an integral part of Nomura’s global expansion plans. The Powai operation is a critical part of the platform to support the growth of Nomura’s global business.
Role / Principal Accountabilities:
Excellent communication skills with stakeholders to discern requirements
Reporting status of work to line managers and communicating risks and problems
Delivering work on time and according to requirements
Skills & Experience Required:
The candidate will already be very familiar with web technologies and will primarily be responsible for implementing designs into Nomura branded web sites and applications
Have at least three years experience with and work with front end frameworks and libraries, constituting of jQuery
Working experience with at least one of the modern front-end technologies (React, NextJS, AngularJS, Vue, etc.)
Excellent CSS skills for modern browsers and a track record of implementing designs into working, cross browser CSS
Very good knowledge and understanding of front-end terms and concepts
Working experience in DevOps
Desired:
Familiar with TeamSite product & XSLT
Familiar with one of the Web Test Automation technologies (Selenium / Playwright)
