A local municipal truck center in the Greenville area is looking for a full time mechanical technician to assemble and weld equipment on commercial trucks.
Responsibilities:
- Must have 2-3 years of mechanical experience
- Must have some welding experience
- Must have some torch experience
- Ability to learn how to mount equipment to commercial trucks
- Ability to communicate with engineering department
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and instructions
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on equipment and alerting maintenance of potential mechanical problems
- Ability to work in a group environment
- Ability to assist other departments as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Pay:
$21 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7am to 4pm
