Position Summary: The CNC setup operator will perform machine setup and operation of CNC lathes in support of manufacturing operations on the second shift.
Essential Functions: The candidate will be required to make/modify CNC programs, select cutting tools and fixtures and complete setups. They will be required to run machines and assist other operators with production and quality related problems.
Daily tasks: Participate in a daily production review meeting and receive the assignments for that day's production. Ensure that all machines have been setup and are running and meeting the production expectations.
