Senior Software Developer (.NET)

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Developer (.NET) to take responsibility for building, enhancing, and maintaining products or systems that support Sage’s business plans and long-term objectives, using the identified architecture.

As a Senior Software Developer at Sage, you will contribute to developing new features for Sage Copilot, our new generative AI assistant designed to help customers work more efficiently.

You will collaborate across teams in a cross-functional environment to build flexible, extensible, and robust solutions, while bringing deep expertise in developing .NET API Domain Services within a commercial setting.

• Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Barcelona office. ***

Responsabilidades principales

• Successfully develop, deliver, and maintain high-quality software, including requirements, design, code, and documentation.
• Solve complex engineering problems by leveraging the .NET C# framework, developing APIs, and integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Bedrock, LLM models, and Machine Learning.
• Work with product managers early on to shape product definition so that it can be built in flexible, extensible, and robust way.
• Evaluate progress, results, and recommend major changes in procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet commitments while mentoring and coaching junior developers.

Requirements

• Proven background in C# .NET API development.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with frontend development using React would be advantageous.
• AI integration experience is desirable but not required; strong interest in the field is expected.
• Solid understanding of software development principles and practices for handling complex assignments.
• Experience with Agile, SCRUM, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies.
