CLINICAL DATABASE MANAGER I
Reporting to the study PI, this position will collaborate with researchers, institution IT staff, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data collection, management, qualify control, and data sharing Responsibilities include maintaining comprehensive documentation and ensuring timely completion of study deliverables. The role involves coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining study-specific systems and applications. The position will also analyze and resolve issues related to the data lifecycle, identify, diagnose, and report related problems, and contribute to the more complex aspects of the study. Work is typically independent but also requires effective collaboration. Additionally, the role provides data-related technology support across various studies and requests.

Salary Range: $63,875 - $103,800
Master's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient in planning, organizing, and managing data throughout its lifecycle. Experienced in designing study data collection processes, coding, debugging, and testing complex systems. Skilled in database management systems (e.g., SQL, REDCap) and data storage solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure). Advanced data reporting and automation skills. Strong understanding of HIPAA, FISMA, and NIH-specific security guidelines, with hands-on experience in data encryption, access controls, and secure data transmission. Advanced technical writing skills, including report programming and development. Familiar with NIH data sharing policies, including DMS and Genomic Data Sharing. Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
