Citrix Workspace App team is working on secure delivery of virtual apps to any device, anywhere.

You are an automation engineer who will be leading the quality initiatives and responsible for automation on virtualization and Web Domain using script and tools such as Selenium, Python, Robot Framework and works well in a team environment that is customer focused, and is ready to work at a fast but sustainable pace.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our Citrix Workspace app web team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge web based Citrix Workspace app. You will be responsible for all aspects of testing, validation, and quality assurance, with a focus on automation and continuous improvement. You will be involved with planning and prioritization of design and development activities for a wide range of initiatives. You will be encouraged to demonstrate the ability to multitask & work in a fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using industry-standard tools and technologies such as Selenium, Robot framework, Python, PowerShell.
• Automate UI, API, and integration tests to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Champion automation best practices within the team.
• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web-based software applications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, performance, security, and integration testing.
• Work effectively in a collaborative team environment with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong self-motivation and being able to work in a team environment with limited supervision.

Required Experience/Skills

• B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech in Computer Science or related field with the relevant experience in Automation Testing of 5+ Years
• Hands-on experience in test automation frameworks and scripting languages - Python, Shell, Selenium, Robot framework, Powershell, JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts and network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, etc).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related technologies.
• Excellent communication & articulation skills
• Experience with CI-CD tools (GIT, Jenkins, JIRA etc.)

Education

B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech or equivalent degree in CS/IT or related field
