Regional Orientation Leaders (ROLs), support our Regional SOAR programs for Winter and Summer. We are looking for high energy leaders who love the Miami Regionals and want to welcome new students to campus!

ROLs are positive role models who assist new students in transitioning to the Miami University Regional Campuses. They should have knowledge of campus, a desire to help others and enjoy working as part of a team.

ROLs will be responsible for leading groups of 5-20 incoming students during our in person and virtual Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) programs. This will include: facilitating icebreakers, engaging the group in discussion, answering questions about campus, giving a campus tours etc.

ROL's familiarize new students with academic opportunities and procedures, campus services, activities opportunities, policies and locations.

Assist with other duties as assigned (e.g. check in, calling students to confirm registrations, directing students) before, during and after orientation.

ROL's are required to work on both the Hamilton and Middletown campuses, and must have reliable transportation for all events.

Minimum of a 2.0 cumulative GPA is required.
