Job Summary
The objective of this position is to assist extrusion personnel in setting up and carrying out extrusion trials, managing the staging area and assisting the other lab personnel. The position is expected to be able to work cooperatively across inter-disciplinary teams to help meet customer demands and ultimately achieve Southwire’s R&D goals. This role is expected to help create and maintain a clean organized environment that reflects 5S principles. In this role, candidates will be exposed to complex projects across the wire and cable industry, engineering principles, testing methodologies, and other relevant industry related business practices that can help develop valuable experience/skills for future opportunities.
