DIRECTOR OF ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE / ORDER-TO-CASH

We have been engaged by a large, Atlanta-based company in its search for an experienced leader of the Accounts Receivable function. The company offers a competitive compensation, stability and the opportunity to make an impact.

The Director of Accounts Receivable will oversee a local and offshore team of Order-to-Cash/Accounts Receivable professionals in cash applications, billing, and collections. The team has a large base of customers and processes a high volume of transaction. In addition to mentoring and developing staff, this role will drive process improvements, optimize systems, manage customer relationships, troubleshoot issues, mitigate risk for the company, and ensure GAAP compliance.

The right candidate for this Director of Accounts Receivable role will have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting (or related)
• 9-11 years of relevant experience leading the full cycle Order-to-Cash/Accounts Receivable function
• Very strong leadership experience, including a track record of leading large teams and supervising managers.
• Experience managing outsourced or off-shored staff
• Experience managing a very large staff of 50 A/R professionals
• Experience working with large ERP systems, preferably supporting system upgrades and implementations
• Track record of driving continuous improvements
• Superior communication and relationship building skills, as well as proven ability to influence
• A track record of career stability and progression.
