This position coordinates flight test activities among multiple engineering disciplines in support of a wide range of military related test programs. The individual should possess the ability to understand air vehicle system architecture, design and subsystems integration and mission systems avionics. The individual should have the ability to lead and mentor junior engineers at varying levels of experience.
The selected candidate must have 3-15 years' direct hands-on flight test experience (salary will be competitive, based on experience) in following phases of test planning preparation, execution and reporting:
The individual should possess a track record of direct hands-on experience in all phases of planning, executing and managing flight tests and a reputation of being a team player and passion for flight test.

BS in technical field or equivalent with number of years of experience determining level of position filled.

The pay range for this position in California is $XXX,000/year to $XXX,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
