As an Advanced Systems Engineer – Fire Systems and AI here at Honeywell, you will provide expert-level technical leadership in the design and development of safety critical systems for commercial fire alarm products. You will be responsible for supporting the engineering processes, technology, and best practices adopting AI agents and other tools to accelerate product development.
You will report directly to our Global Fire Chief Architect and you'll work out of our Atlanta, Georgia or Northford, Connecticut locations (based on preference) on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the architecture and systems engineering of global safety critical (SIL2) technologies like fire alarm control panels, audio-video notification devices, smoke / gas / heat detectors, and public voice announcement systems. Other technologies include wireless mesh networking and AI/ML edge innovation. Honeywell Fire needs an innovative thinker with strong systems experience and ready to develop and deploy a vision of AI agents supporting the systems engineering processes.
