We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembly/Quality Control Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling products or components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
Location: Tolland, CT
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm
Compensation: $20/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble products or components according to blueprints, instructions, or work orders.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Use hand tools, power tools, or machinery as needed for assembly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Report any malfunctions, defects, or shortages in materials to the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred but not required).
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly or quality control
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to read drawings
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
- Basic Excel skills
