Senior QA Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of planning and executing comprehensive end-to-end testing within our Tax Services team.

As a Senior QA Engineer at Sage, you will spearhead automation design, analysis, planning, and coordination to help drive multiple complex initiatives, projects, and systems toward successful delivery.

• Please note that this role is hybrid and will require you to work 3 days a week from our Barcelona office. ***

Responsabilidades principales

• Plan and execute testing approaches across various stages, including rapid, risk-based, exploratory, regression, security, and usability testing.
• Review and maintain existing automation suites to ensure they remain optimized, efficient, and easy to maintain.
• Own the end-to-end testing phase, collaborating with your team and coordinating cross-divisional testing activities when needed.
• Demonstrate leadership by producing clear test metrics, mentoring team members, influencing testing strategies, and providing recommendations.
• Develop a deep understanding of the system under test to support risk assessment, mitigation, and the accurate estimation, creation, and execution of test artifacts.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Selenium and Postman for API testing, along with hands-on expertise in performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Background in cloud computing, ideally with Azure or AWS.
• Proficient in a programming language such as Ruby, Java, or C#.
• ISTQB Foundation certification (or higher) preferred.
