The department is responsible to develop a customer adapted solution for the control equipment in modernization projects for our gas and gas turbine fleet.

Currently the futures energy systems are developed in a rapid pace and our department is contributing to find a solution for the tougher demands that’s our customers face in regards of smaller grid tolerance, operation with renewable fuel and several other innovative solutions to user their equipment in a more effective way.

You will be part of a team with very broad knowledge with regards to gas and gas turbine control, which make sure to support and help each other. As a control system engineer you will be part of the project team and assist in developing the customer specific solution for the control system in our delivery project. The scope varies and the real challenge lies within getting the new equipment integrated in the existing system.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• In the role as control system engineer your responsibility will be to take part in the project delivery to adapt and develop customer specific function.
• At Siemens Energy you have the opportunity to evolve from your role as control system engineer as we work with everything from project delivery, trouble shooting and commissioning for both new delivery and service mods & ups.
• You will take part in delivery adaptation, modification, development, etc.
• Through the teams continuously business development you will have the possibility to affect how the department will organize and perform projects in the future.

What You Bring

• Completed studies in electrical engineering
• You have 3-5 years relevant experience
• You have experience in SIMATIC PCS7 and/or T3000
• If you have knowledge from any of our gas turbines (SGT-5/6/7/800) it´s meritorious
• To succeed in this role, you need good cooperation skills and is open to assist colleagues within the organization
• You need to be able to express our self in English both in speech and writing

Our experienced Budapest Gas Services Competence Center team provides services for Instrumentation & Control, electrical and mechanical engineering and other business supports.
