EDM Architect

Description:

In this vital role you will lead the transformation of the SAP Master Data Management (MDM) objects and collaborate with the S4/HANA implementation program. You will own the design and incremental product delivery of SAP MDM technologies and adoption of data management capabilities.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Formulate and complete the strategy to design and re-design SAP master data management. You will evaluate and implement the next generation of MDM technologies to improve the quality of master data in our SAP S4/HANA environment.
• Design, develop and maintain a flexible data model for SAP Master Data object (Customer, Product, Plant, Supplier, Specification and similar objects)
• In collaboration with business partners, define and implement data strategy, policies, controls, and programs to ensure the SAP master data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
• Enforce data standards for Master Data Critical Data Elements within SAP
• Assist in data management, governance, and data quality to ensure data integrity within SAP and across the enterprise is consistent and meets stated business rules and requirements.
• Analyze data and identify business processes impacting or impacted by data quality.
• Collaborate closely with the EDM Product Team to ensure multidisciplinary end-to-end use cases related to Master Data Management are considered and reviewed.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to unlock new data elements that support business processes enhancements and strategic decision making.
• Improve important metrics pertaining to data accuracy and process SLA alignment.
• The candidate is expected to be a solution architect / senior member with expertise in SAP MDM and MDG and have architectural implementation experience of large-scale master data management projects.

Keys to Success:

• Experience with SAP MDM implementations with a solid grasp of Master Data integration points
• Understanding of functional and technical objects in SAP Master Data
• Experience with SAP Data Architecture, and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG)
• Experience leading SAP master data domains implementations.
• Experience in evaluating all business requirements and author master data solutions that provide an integrated approach on SAP Business Transformation programs.
• Experience with SAP S/4 HANA is required for this role.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Master’s degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience or Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Information Systems experience
• Increasing roles from Execution to Thought Leadership in the SAP MDG and MDM spaces utilizing the keys to success listed above in their current role
