  • Works with Architecture, Development, DevOps and IT Ops teams (Product Team) to identify performance test requirements and SLA’s.
  • Defines PT test plan and approaches
  • Works with the Product Team to define appropriate workflows, scenarios, data and test environment to support the testing.
  • Analyses available resources to understand usage patterns and data sizes and reflect that appropriately in the PT test parameters
  • Works in accordance to the PT best practices, optimal use of test tools, and testing principles
  • Monitors the effectiveness of PT tests and provides recommendations for changes.
  • Conducts performance test; measures, analyzes and evaluates results; establishes benchmarks; and provides summary report/s and recommendation as necessary.
  • Works with the product team in the investigation and resolution of performance related issues and bottlenecks.
  • Participate in defect review process and continue to identify improvements in preventing and early detection of client production issues related to non-functional requirements.
  • Help support and maintain the goal of continuous and regular non-functional test execution and an effective analysis and communication of results.
  • Serve as a champion of non-functional testing and help support the Software Engineering functions through lunch & learn, brown bag sessions, and other learning sessions.
  • Suggest new tools and techniques to improve performance testing efficiency

knowledge and Experience:

  • A Bachelor's/College Degree would be beneficial and experience in a technology related discipline, such as IT or Engineering or equivalent experience is required
  • 8-10 years of Experience in Performance Testing
  • Experience in creating application performance tests, scripting workflows and creating load test scenarios.
  • Experience of interpreting and analyzing load test results
  • Knowledge and experience in the analysis of application usage data and performance monitoring metrics in Azure application insights.
  • Working knowledge of load balancing, single/multi tenancy, microservices, cloud, and multi-tier web application architectures
  • Knowledge and experience in performance testing categories such as: stress, load, endurance, volume, and scalability testing.
  • Knowledge and experience on tools such as Load Runner, Neoload, JMeter, Git, Fiddler, SQL Server Profiler, Oracle SQL Developer or other profiling and performance tools
  • Experience working with Agile Scrum teams, including those distributed geographically
  • Familiarity with change management systems and processes
  • Knowledge on principles of continuous integration and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge on continuous delivery concepts.
  • Analytical, creative, adaptable, resourceful, innovative and imaginative and fun
  • Strong problem-solving skills required, and ability to follow through to completion
  • Customer focused and commitment to best-in-class processes and procedures.
