WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll join the Product, Practice and Knowledge (PPK) group in one of our practices. “Practices” are how we group and organize our solutions and products based on our clients’ industry or business function. They’re integral to how we win and deliver results to our clients and are a key strategic priority within our firm. Operations roles are critical in helping to drive the strategic direction and operations of a practice.
The aim of our Social Impact Practice is to drive transformative social impact by applying Bain talent in partnership with the most effective and innovative organizations to address some of the world’s most pressing social issues. We focus on addressing five major global issues: Food Systems & Nature, Climate & Energy Transition, Education, Racial Equity & Social Justice, and Economic Development. Bain has invested over $1.1 billion in pro bono work in these areas over the past 10 years, and recently renewed this commitment for an additional $2 billion over the next 10 years. Read our recent Social Impact Report to learn more about our work.
WHERE YOU’LL FIT WITHIN THE TEAM
The Operations Senior Analyst (OSA) executes flawlessly on strategic and operational responsibilities for the practice, works closely with the Practice Manager and collaborates with senior members of the practice team.
To support the practice on a day-to-day basis, the OSA leads and executes our operational priorities and plays a pivotal role in building new strategic initiatives from the ground up – focused on driving connectivity with other practices, enhancing operational efficiencies, and deepening engagement with our affiliates. The OSA identifies operational issues, draws out data-driven insights, recommends and implements proposed changes. They also prioritize effectively, innovate, streamline, and improve ways of working, in collaboration and coordination with multiple, often senior, stakeholders inside and outside the practice. Other responsibilities may include preparing materials for key stakeholder meetings, supporting year-end planning processes, coordinating communications initiatives, and serving as a knowledgeable point of contact for incoming requests from stakeholders across the organization.
