The Graduate Program of Arts in Criminal Justice program at Delaware Valley University invites applications for adjunct instructor positions. This is a pooled position which will serve as an electronic file from which candidates will be drawn on an as needed basis. The program offers a hybrid model of instruction, wherein each class is 50%

face-to-face and 50% online. Courses are offered in the evenings. Complete applications are to include:

• Advanced Criminology
• Criminal Law and Procedure
• Diversity and Criminal Justice Social Policy
• Problems in Contemporary Corrections, Probation, and Parole
• Ethical Leadership and Accountability in the Criminal Justice System

Preferred Requirements:

• Ph.D.
• in Criminal Justice, Public Safety, Criminology or Legal Studies
• Demonstrated
• teaching excellence
• Experience
• working with diverse populations

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s
• degree with significant work experience in law enforcement administration,
• public safety, courts, corrections, or homeland security.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach a specified course
• Prepare course materials
• Stay current on topics and practices related to the discipline
• Provide support and guidance to students
• Evaluate student performance
• Participate in Outcomes Assessment practices
• Work with Graduate Program Director
• Learn and/or update the use of Blackboard (DE101 certification training provided)
