Main responsibilities
Account Management
- Oversee and expand the active customer base within the Home Care and I&I segments.
- Manage local direct and indirect accounts by thoroughly understanding customer needs and delivering appropriate solutions.
- Collaborate with the global key account manager to handle transactional activities for global key accounts in Thailand, while also focusing on the growth of second-tier customers to meet growth objectives.
- Drive business development initiatives aimed at increasing market share, broadening the customer base, and enhancing application and product usage.
- Enhance customer experience by ensuring a seamless business and order process in partnership with the Customer Service Operations (CSO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) teams.
Distribution Channel Management
- Drive business development initiatives targeting indirect customers through key distributors, with a focus on increasing market share, expanding the customer base, and enhancing application and product usage
- Manage priorities, strategic focus, and developmental direction for key distributors using a systematic management approach.
- Foster continuous improvement in customer experience for indirect customers through close collaboration with key distributors.
Sales & Operations
- Oversee an effective Merchandise-Stock business model by delivering accurate sales forecasts to support demand and stock planning in collaboration with Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Service Operations (CSO).
- Manage the customer quotation and pricing process in accordance with BASF EM CSP pricing tool requirements.
- Provide support for any nonconformance issues identified by customers, working closely with CSO and relevant stakeholders to address them.
- Ensure precise sales forecasting for demand planning activities in partnership with SCM.
- Uphold discipline in managing customer information, business development, and activity tracking using BASF EM CRM (Salesforce).
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities and industry trends within the local home care and I&I markets.
- Stay informed about local and international regulations that may affect the business.
- Proactively share insights regarding customer needs and requirements for both direct and indirect accounts.
- Provide customer insights to facilitate technical and marketing collaboration, driving the development of customer-driven solutions that are tailored to the local market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or relevant industrial work experience.
- 5-10 years of experience in a sales role within the home care and I&I segments.
- Proficient in MS Office, with fluency in business-level English and exceptional communication skills.
