Responsibilities Own the entire system testing process, including but not limited to analysis, design, executing test plans and cases, and conducting defect tracking. Cultivate deep understanding of PGC (Professional Generated Contents) business needs and technical roadmap, and set clear quality standards in collaboration with other Engineering Managers and corresponding business leaders. Recommend process, testing methodology, and improve technology/Quality Assurance (QA) tools. Provide technical guidance to team members and enhance technical capabilities. Introduce new techniques and methods to improve team productivity. Work closely with cross-functional teams in the early stage of product development lifecycle to define test strategy, test plans, and test coverage. Help solve engineering problems and contribute to creative solutions. Influence the engineering culture of the product teams and advocating engineering excellence.
Qualifications Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience. Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts integrated with CI/CD systems, and building scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing; Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create systematic and comprehensive test plans and test cases, including estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing efforts across team members; Identifying, recording, resolving, and documenting software bugs, including tracking bugs and test metrics; Building automated test scripts using Java or Python for front-end testing and backend API testing; and Building and testing software solutions using Agile methodology and DevOps development practices.
