Role Overview

The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Project Management, will be responsible for executing operational aspects of supply chain projects for the US market (e.g. new products, transfers, life cycle management projects). This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure successful project readiness for multiple projects.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ensure new initial product set up, supply chain and financial flow, costs on SKU level in all relevant systems (e.g. SAP, IBP, launch, serialization systems) and appropriate master data transitions for transfers or any other life cycle management projects.
  • Create E2E market project plans as per defined milestones and target dates.
  • Track key project milestones and escalate any risks to target dates for assigned projects.
  • Work with market supply planners to create launch supply scenarios and bridging stocks for transfers and life cycle management projects.
  • Lead cross-functional market launch, transfer and life cycle management meetings with internal and external cross-functional teams as per consistent and robust project management process and governance.
  • Perform cross-functional Annual Pipeline Review meetings.
  • Support commercial budget and long-range planning process.
  • Track project metrics, monitor progress and escalate any risks to operational readiness dates; drive all necessary mitigation plans to ensure on-time execution.
  • Provide information and support at-risk decision-making processes.
  • Maintain project status and all relevant launch/project reports and provide to management as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Requirements and personal skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree (MBA, PhD, MA) preferred
  • Languages: N/A
  • Experience (years/area): 5 years in the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, med-tech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting industry.
  • Proficient: 3 years commercial background with US market, launch, and product lifecycle stages experience.
  • Specific Knowledge: cross-functional life sciences launch experience, ability to operationalize commercial launch strategy, strong executive presence, commercial acumen, and communication skills, ability to lead/manage, and motivate teams with or without authority.

Physical Demands

This job operates in a remotely in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position, Hybrid model. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
