Bloomingdale Animal Hospital is looking to add an exceptional Client Service Representative to its outstanding team!

Job Summary: Put your knowledge and compassion into practice! Bloomingdale Animal Hospital is looking for a Client Service Representative (CSR) to join our community-based practice. CSRs provide the first and the last impression during our client's visits. CSRs play a vital role in our team by providing clear communication to our clients as well as our veterinary staff.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous Customer Service Experience is required
• Previous Veterinary Experience is a plus!
• clearly communicate with the team as well as with clients
• to work well in both a team environment and independently
• perform clerical work with speed and accuracy
• multitask in a fast-paced environment
• maintain compassion, sympathy, and professionalism

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional, friendly, and informative customer service
• Communicate with clients in person, over the phone as well as via email.
• Maintain medical records both in computer management software and in physical charts.
• Schedule and confirm all appointments and surgeries.
• Accurately process charges for services and products
• Fill food and prescription orders
• Answer questions regarding services, products, and general animal husbandry (i.e. Heartworm prevention, flea, and tick prevention, specialty diets etc.)

Projected Schedule: M, T, Th, Fri-and every other Saturday; off on Wednesday

Compensation-$16-18/hr-DOE
