Education Qualifications:
Successful completion of a polysomnography program associated with a state license and/or nationally accredited education facility and documented proficiency in all required competencies of a polysomnographic technician.
OR If no education then must have 1 year of experience as a sleep lab tech and must complete education requirements within 1 year of hire or transfer.
You will be responsible for the performance of all aspects of sleep disorder testing performed on pediatrics through adults.
Responsibilities include:
- Patient screening and scheduling by phone,
- Perform polysomnograms,
- Perform patient education during and after patient admission,
- Participate in case review and treatment plans with physicians, and
- Arrange the prescribed patient home therapy.
Schedule: Sunday – Tuesday, 7p – 7:30a. Five shifts per pay period.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Central Market:
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent within 1 year of hire or transfer.
