Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester, all of which include online delivery. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.
Topics vary depending on the needs of the academic department but may include:
Fashion Merchandising Technology including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator) and Excel. Global Sourcing and Supply Chain Logistics, Fashion Promotion, Fashion Trend Forecasting, Fashion Brand Management, Social/Psychology of dress and appearance, Fashion Buying, Planning, and Allocation.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Requires a minimum of Master’s degree in related field. PhD is preferred.
Experience Required for the Position
Teaching experience preferred. Minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
