Temp-to-Hire

Location: Hartland, WI

Pay Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour

Schedule/Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri (8:00am-4:30pm) Some overtime may be available in 4th quarter busy season. Not required

Job Description:

• Review product labeling, prior to start, ensuring allergen listing and accuracy
• Monitor product packaging for code date accuracy and quality.
• Monitor case packing for quality and bar code accuracy.
• Pack cases and stack pallets
• Move pallets (using pallet jack) of supplies, ingredients and product
• Monitor levels of ingredients and packaging and communicate with purchasing.
• Monitor ingredients and packaging for quality, adulteration, fraud and communicate with management.
• Participate in filling out daily production records accurately and timely.
• Keep machinery, equipment and production room clean and sanitized per sanitation schedules and document required information.
• Maintain a flexible approach to work to meet work requirements.

Qualifications: Food Processing experience desired. Ability to work with food allergens. Ability to work with cleaning chemicals. Ability to speak, read and comprehend English. Must have good reading and writing skills.

Ability to perform operational/manufacturing functions in order to keep the process viable. Ability to operate various tools and equipment including bar code scanner, computer and pallet jack. Must have good numerical skills, accurate weighing and ability to accurately calculate weights and measures.

Physical Requirements: Requires standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift, bending, reaching and stretching. Hair Nets/Beard Nets/Gloves provided. Closed toed shoes required.
