Job Description

Ensure the correct Configuration of the Engine at modular level in accordance with the Engine Shop Manual and Shop requirements during all the Engine visit for CFM56 and LEAP families.

Complementary Description

  • Validate the Bill of Materials to be released for each module and in MRP system, according to Engine Workscope, Customer requirements and the applicable Maintenance Manuals of each Engine during it's shop visit.
  • Provide Technical Support to teams within the Supply Chain and Operations on part number applicability issues.
  • Create lists of expendable material and hardware (kits) to ensure the correct Engine reassembly in accordance with the Engine Shop Manual and data analysis.
  • Provide Technical Support to Assembly area on expendable material and hardware to ensure the correct assembly of the Engine in order to avoid work stoppages.
  • Ensure the correct compliance of the Service Bulletins required for the Engine at the Shop Visit through an in-depth analysis and considering all the affected factors.
  • Development and implementation of virtual tools to help with Configuration process (Detection of configuration deviations, material validation, creation of kits, etc).
  • Participate or lead projects related to improving the configuration area or management of aeronautical parts.

Job Requirements

  • Aeronautical Engineer or related.
  • Knowledge of CFM and LEAP Engines.
  • Knowledge of Engine or Aircraft Maintenance Manuals
  • Microsoft Excel
