We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Data Analytics & Insights to support the Regulatory Affairs Data Office.

Purpose: This role will lead the development of a strategic roadmap for the Data Analytics & Insights Pillar within the Global Regulatory Affairs Data Strategy. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of data and fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making for sustainable growth and innovation in the MedTech sector.

You will be responsible for:

Data Analytics and Insights

  • Identify and articulate problems that data analytics can address by assessing processes, determining requirements, and delivering insights and recommendations to executives and stakeholders.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and analytical application solutions that visualize data patterns, trends, and correlations, enabling stakeholders to derive actionable insights quickly.
  • Utilize advanced statistical methods and tools to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights.

Business Intelligence Management

  • Support the effective use of data within Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) by designing, maintaining, and ensuring the performance of the business intelligence user environment.
  • Manage and enhance the reporting environment (Terra) in partnership with the Regulatory Affairs Digital Solutions team.

Team Leadership and Development

  • Mentor, coach, and manage a team to drive effective performance and development.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on data analytics tools and methodologies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quality Assurance, R&D, and Clinical Affairs, to gather and analyze data relevant to regulatory workflows, including submissions to Health Authorities.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in data analytics within the MedTech sector.

Project Management

  • Manage projects related to regulatory data analytics ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.

Data Integrity and Compliance

  • Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in accordance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to quickly translate business requirements into complex data analytics and actionable business insights, both verbally and digitally.

Adaptability and Problem-Solving

  • Exhibit the ability to multitask and maintain flexibility in handling shifting priorities within a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience in manipulating large datasets in database environments to support analytical initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required; Advanced Degree strongly preferred.
  • At least 8-10+ years’ experience (6-8 with Adv. Degree) in Data analytics and/or Data Visualization within a multinational global environment required.
  • Highly proficient in SQL, SAS, R, DAX, Python and/or M coding languages (or similar) required.
  • Extensive experience in Tableau, PowerBI, or similar data visualization software required.
  • Confident communicating with stakeholders of all levels including the ability to advise, train and support staff and clients where necessary.
  • A track record of working in an Agile environment (Scrum) strongly preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, written and verbal skills along with strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to build strong collaborative relationships in a multicultural remote team.
  • Familiarity with Medical Device industry highly desired.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Microsoft products.
  • Ability to take client requirements, understand them and turn them into a powerful story told through engaging visuals in Power BI.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

The anticipated base salary range is $120,000 to $207,000 based on experience.

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
