Tie Press Operator 

Job Summary: A tie press operator's main responsibility is to set up and run a steel tie press.

Location: Shawnee, KS

Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hr

Schedule: 6:00am -4:30pm Tuesday-Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:

Preparing machines for production by cleaning and calibrating them

• Adjusting machine settings, such as speed
• Feeding raw materials or parts into machines
• Inspecting parts using measuring tools
• Testing machine operation periodically
• Fixing issues that may arise during a shift
• Checking output for mistakes or flaws
• Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to lift 75lbs
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must have knowledge in basic shop tools
• Ability and Willingness to work in inclement weather
