THE ROLE

Maryville Consulting Group is seeking an entrepreneurial leader to drive growth within our Digital Operations practice, focused on organizational change consulting and technology transformation.

In this role, we seek a leader that is highly skilled at understanding a Fortune 500 client's business strategy, identifying pain points and challenges across their digital landscape, creating actionable roadmaps, and delivering upon those roadmaps. This leader is tasked with arriving at strategic solutions that are not readily apparent, through the ability to turn assessment findings into insights that inform strategy and digital operations transformation. 

As a leader at Maryville, you will be accountable for Organizational Effectiveness go-to-market, methodology development, and technology partnership expansion. Our ideal candidate has experience leading consulting teams focused on enhancing their clients' employee workflows. In this role, we seek a hands-on capability leader that understands the best path towards building a consulting practice is by working with our best advocates and critics, our clients. 

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As a Principal Consultant, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Accountability for practice growth through business development, capability definition/refinement, delivery leadership, and team development.
• Drives awareness of industry best practices and builds upon an environment of continuous learning and improvement
• Lead cross-functional teams within our Fortune 500 client base
• Evaluate client problem statements to define strategic roadmaps using data, critical analysis skills, and relevant industry knowledge
• Cultivate customer relationships and become a trusted advisor, providing prescriptive guidance in the development of people, process, and technology for our clients
• Build relationships with technology partners, such as ServiceNow, to drive joint marketing, sales, and delivery pursuits
• Bring and grow knowledge of industry-leading technology platforms
• Drive and improve upon defined project standards and implementation methodologies

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• 8+ years' experience in management or business technology consulting environment
• Consulting Expertise in Organizational Effectiveness and Technology Transformation
• Strong desire to own the P&L through the leadership of capability definition and delivery paired with business development
• Strong communication and collaboration skills -- thrives upon interaction with executive leadership
• Demonstrated leadership in problem statement definition, scoping, solution proposal, and solution execution
• Demonstrated peer mentorship and organizational leadership skills
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% domestically
• This position is available within the United States as a remote position, or within St. Louis, Minneapolis, or Boston as an office-based role.
