What You'll Do

The Enterprise Services Digital Products Portfolio is a global team of experts and operational leaders driving and influencing many business-critical aspects of the BCG Employee experience across diverse functional areas including Real Estate, Travel, Meetings & Events, Security, and Sustainability, and case team services. The team supports a complex and global set of senior stakeholders and manages or influences a majority of BCG’s operations spend.

We act as internal consultants and relationship managers to our internal clients around the firm to assist in providing outstanding service and operational excellence. This global team of 100 drive impact through defining strategy and operational excellence; innovating, building and deploying digital tools and infrastructure; delivering expertise and operating model transformation; and enabling our local teams to maximize their effectiveness.

As a Global Data Architect within the ESDP PP team, you will play a pivotal role in driving BCG’s data strategy and enabling advanced analytics, intelligence, and business decision-making across global functions. Your mission is to provide holistic, scalable, and business-aligned data solutions for a wide range of problem statements, touching every aspect of our digital ecosystem.

You will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide data architecture, supporting ingestion, transformation, and publishing pipelines, while ensuring efficient data governance, security, and access models. This is not a traditional IT-focused architect role; rather, this position sits at the intersection of technology and business, requiring strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

You’ll work closely with product owners, business partners, analysts, engineers, and leadership across BCG’s digital product landscape to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions, create robust data models, and guide development teams toward architecture that is both sustainable and scalable.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience architecting enterprise-scale data platforms, data warehouses, and BI solutions
• Strong command of data engineering processes including ingestion, transformation (ETL/ELT), and publishing
• Good understanding of BI platforms, data modeling, and end-user analytics consumption
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Knowledge of databases like SQL Server and foundational understanding of AWS services is a must-have
• Excellent grasp of data governance, metadata management, and data security best practices
• Proven ability to mentor teams, engage senior stakeholders, and manage competing priorities
• Strong experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, and awareness of modern data architecture patterns (e.g., data mesh, data fabric)
• Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and SDLC
