We are looking for an IP Admin Analyst to join our Product & Client Services team in Belgrade. This is an amazing opportunity to learn more about IP & to apply advanced product and workflow knowledge to resolve various customer issues. The inner team consists of 4 people and is reporting to the Senior Team Lead, Product and Client Services. We would love to speak with you if you have previous experience & knowledge within IP.

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Proficient level of English language.

It would be great if you also have . . . 

  • Experience managing data through software and databases.
  • Bachelor's degree in law.
  • Previous IP experience.

What will you be doing in this role?

  • Collecting all issues related to daily tasks and dealing with the resolutions on daily basis.
  • Dealing with foreign/domestic patent/trademark portfolio, while respecting the customer deadlines, customer specificities, internal procedures, quality standards and KPIs; Performing data verification and checking whether information provided by customers is in accordance with information found on IP databases.
  • Creating reports of IP matters for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Obtaining deep understanding of the maintenance workflow in order to collaborate with other teams at every stage of the process; achieving deep knowledge of all national IP databases in order to be a reference point for other teams; supporting patent/trademark related projects; proactively recommending improvements as well as corrective and preventive actions to reduce customer complaints, improve efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as necessary – may involve handling confidential and sensitive material.

About the Team

The team is part of brand line of business of product organization, consisting out of the people that are focused in the specific areas. We work with one of the leading law firms in Japan who provide IP services to a large portfolio of clients. The team provides Trademark Renewal / Maintenance services by communicating with clients and agents, resolving possible issues, while making sure that the renewals are done timely and accordingly. The Product Specialist will focus on applying advanced product and workflow knowledge to resolve unique and complex customer issues related to the IP industry.

Hours of Work 

This is a fixed-term position (maternity leave cover). The working hours would be standard EMEA working hours.

This is a hybrid position; you will be expected to work from our Belgrade office 3 days every other week.
