Your Role:

Treasure Data is seeking a Senior IT Systems Engineer to join our Tokyo office. In this role, you will be part of a small, highly motivated team responsible for managing IT SaaS applications, endpoints, and providing user support for a global company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation, with hands-on experience in SaaS, SSO, MDM, Networking, and Automation. You will be the go-to person for end-user support, managing IT SaaS Apps and office infrastructure, and developing automation to streamline operations and improve efficiency. This position requires you to be in the office at least three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Systems Engineering and Automation:

  • Provide technical expertise to end-users for client IT systems such as Okta, Jamf, Slack, Google Suite, Confluence, and Zoom Workspace, including integrations.
  • Ensure efficient, onboarding orientation and offboarding for users, including provisioning and deprovisioning access to IT systems.
  • Work closely with global ITS team members to implement technical solutions and resolve issues. Maintain and enhance internal IT documentation
  • Configure & manage SaaS Apps and processes with automation.

User Support and Troubleshooting:

  • Act as a key point of contact for end-users across the APAC region, providing expert-level support and troubleshooting for technical issues.
  • Manage and resolve system incidents, requests, and service disruptions related to client systems, office conferencing and network equipment.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Participate in a weekly on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of overall experience in IT Systems Engineering or IT Operations.
  • 4+ years of experience in Okta administration.
  • 3+ years of experience in MDM tools like Jamf, Kandji, Intune and managing MacBooks.
  • 2+ years of experience in IT automation, with hands-on expertise in Python scripting or automation tools such as Workato, Tines, Zapier, or other industry-standard automation tools.
  • Excellent communication skills in English .
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining IT documentation.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Jira ITSM ticketing management and Confluence documentation.
  • 2+ years of experience with Google Suite, Zoom Rooms and Slack administration.
  • Have a good understanding of Agile and Scrum processes
  • Experience working with AI tools
