The Senior Manager, IT Enterprise Applications – Salesforce Platform oversees the strategy, governance, and delivery of Salesforce across the organization. The role leads a team of technical professionals delivering Salesforce solutions primarily for Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud while establishing a Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) to drive best practices, governance, and architectural standards. The Senior Manager will balance hands-on technical leadership and strategic oversight ensuring Salesforce investments are fully optimized to drive business value.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a Salesforce strategy aligned with digital transformation goals, maximizing return on investment (ROI).
  • Establish and scale a Salesforce Center of Excellence (CoE) to standardize governance frameworks, best practices, and architecture.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and business stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, enterprise-wide Salesforce solutions.
  • Align Salesforce solutions with enterprise objectives, and broader IT strategies.
  • Partner with Innovations and AI Solutions to advocate for Salesforce innovation and adoption, identifying opportunities to leverage new features and AI-driven capabilities.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level presentations on Salesforce strategy, performance metrics, and ROI analysis.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering innovation and efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance in Salesforce architecture, configuration, and integrations.
  • Oversee Salesforce Data Cloud strategy, optimizing data utilization for patient engagement, marketing, and contact centers.
  • Ensure smooth integration between Salesforce and other enterprise applications, leveraging APIs, middleware, and external platforms.
  • Implement DevOps practices for continuous Salesforce development and deployment.
  • Drive security, data management, and compliance best practices across Salesforce applications.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field of study from an accredited college or university. In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in enterprise IT strategy, Salesforce development, architecture, and delivery.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, including leading Salesforce delivery teams or a CoE.
  • Experience working with business leaders to align technology with strategic goals.
  • Proven in-depth expertise in Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Data Cloud for Contact Center, Marketing, and Legal.
  • Hand-on experience with Salesforce integrations using APIs, MuleSoft, and external data platforms (Snowflake, etc.).
  • Experience implementing AI-driven Salesforce solutions (Einstein AI, predictive analytics, AgentForce).

Preferred

  • 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, architecture, and delivery.
  • Experience in regulated industries: healthcare, finance, or retail.
  • Certifications in Salesforce Architecture: Certified Technical Architect (CTA), Application and System Architect.
  • Certifications in Salesforce: Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Data Cloud, or Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience in Marketing Cloud, Non-Profit Cloud, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) integration in Salesforce.
  • Background in digital transformation or large-scale IT implementations

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Ability to manage vendor relationships and enterprise software contracts.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills to mentor, coach and develop team members.
  • Demonstrated analytical, problem resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Understanding of systems integrations, data management, and application governance.
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of Salesforce security, data modeling, governance frameworks, and automation tools (Flow, Apex, Lightning, OmniStudio).
  • Strong ability to align Salesforce investments with business objectives and demonstrate tangible value.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communications skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Compensation Information

$136,000.00-$176,000.00 / Annually
