Job Description:

The Senior Business Development Associate leads the entirety of the business development process from identifying appropriate targets, to effectively marketing up until the lead is converted to revenue. This position relies on strong product knowledge to communicate the value of the division and to independently drive sales.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads by building relationships and proactively calling on Corporate Executive decision makers and or Private Equity Funds
  • Communicate the division’s value and service offerings in an effective manner
  • Keep existing leads warm while developing new opportunities
  • Remain abreast of actionable merger and acquisition opportunities among targets to create and to close sales
  • Work collaboratively within a team oriented collaborative environment
  • Create conversion opportunities by following the structured steps of the consultative sales process
  • Develop a deep understanding of both the customer base and the product to deliver impactful and effective pitches
  • Proactively follow up on pitches to independently drive revenue growth for the firm
  • Build and maintain relationships with a large variety of executives and private equity professionals to maximize diligence opportunities for the firm
  • Achieve or surpass established sales quotas consistently

Job Specifications:

  • At least 5-7 years of sales experience
  • Strong knowledge of the consultative sales process
  • Ability to follow-up seamlessly in an ongoing and engaging manner
  • Results oriented
  • Strong writing skills
  • Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)

Target Hiring Range $90,000 - $125,000

This position offers a competitive base salary along with a strong commission structure designed to reward top performance and provide significant earning potential for motivated sales professionals.

Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
