Field Service Engineer

Location: Buffalo, NY

Salary: $24.00 - $65.00/Hr 

Dept: Tech

Responsibilities

Job Duties:

• Responsible for installation of Access Control and IP Camera Systems
• Off-site configuration and preparation of equipment
• On-site installation of cable infrastructure, hardware, and software components
• Take dispatched trouble calls, assess the situation and take corrective action
• Reliability and Attendance – begin work on time and conform to work hours and schedule.
• Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications

Technical Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred (electronics)
• Video Surveillance: 2 years (Required)
• Access Control: 2 years (Required) 
• Computer skills: 2 years (Required)
• One to three+ years relevant work experience
• Cat 5 and 6 Cable terminations
• Basic understanding of IP schema and basic networking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft software including Excel, Word
