Responsibilities:

  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrates integrity, objectivity and a high standard of ethics
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge and understanding of analytical tools and technical issues; ability to conduct technical research and present conclusions to clients and engagement teams
  • Interacts with clients, developing procedures, identification of significant risks, performing analysis, drafting reports and exhibits, and preparing for testimony
  • Provides quality control by ensuring compliance with internal (BT methodology and risk management) and external (regulatory) requirements
  • Coaches and develops lower-level associates
  • Participates actively in training and developmental opportunities, both as an attendee and as a facilitator

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required, Master’s preferred
  • CPA preferred
  • 1-3+ years of work experience is required
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting principles, forensic concepts, and damages models is required
  • Experience in conducting corporate investigations related to misappropriation of assets, financial reporting, contract performance, and other compliance requirements
  • Experience with providing litigation support services, especially involving economic damage analyses and related report writing
  • Testifying expert experience preferred.
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • Maintains the highest technical and professional standards
  • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple engagements simultaneously
