The University of Maryland Baltimore's (UMB) Office of Sponsored Program Administration (SPA) is looking for a Grants Administrators at level II. SPA provides oversight and administrative support to investigators and departmental administrators throughout the life cycle of sponsored projects. These positions interpret sponsor regulations and guidelines and ensure fulfillment of all requirements and compliance with rules and regulations; engage in the review of budgets and all administrative aspects of applications; oversee the progress and submission of all applications; and work with research administrators on post award non-financial administrative matters.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or other discipline appropriate to the position.
Experience: Two years of administrative experience in the area of research administration or sponsored programs
Certification: NA
Other: Financial disclosure reporting required by State of Maryland Ethics Committee.
May consider combination of directly related experience and education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Hiring Range: $67,000 - $74,000 per year (Commensurate with education and experience).
