Department Overview:

The Fusion Financials Support Team is expanding to cater to our rapidly growing customer base in the Cloud. We are a dedicated group of professionals who collaborate closely with Oracle Development to support early adopters and new customers. Position Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Support Professional with a functional background in Financials, particularly in Account Receivable. This role reports to the Oracle Customer Support Manager and is a key player in ensuring exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Functional Expertise: A good understanding of Oracle Fusion Financials or Oracle EBS Accounts Receivable is preferred. Knowledge of other ERP Financial Software is also advantageous.
  • Accounting Lifecycle: Experience in the accounting lifecycle, including enterprise structures setup, invoice and payments processing, tax reporting, period-end close processes, and Financial Reporting Workspace.
  • ERP Financial Software: Support or consulting experience with Oracle Financials (Fusion or EBS) or other ERP Financial solutions is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service: Responsible for delivering excellent customer service, including incident tracking, diagnosis, replication, troubleshooting, and resolution. The focus is on providing both technical and functional support to drive complete and timely incident resolution.

Required Skills:

  • Analytical and Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities are a must.
  • ERP Knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP products, specifically Financials.
  • Oracle Fusion/EBS Experience: Fusion or EBS Financials experience is preferred, especially in Accounts Payables. Working knowledge of Fusion or EBS Subledger Accounting, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, or other ERP Financial Solutions will also be considered.
  • Technical Background: A functional/technical background in assigned product areas (Financials) and exposure to associated systems and software.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in any of the following is desirable: RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, XML.
  • SQL and RDBMS: Understanding of structured SQL statements and their execution in the RDBMS environment (SQL/PLSQL).
  • Log Analysis: Ability to read and interpret software log and trace files, and server configuration, to determine problem resolution.
  • Knowledge Management: Experience in filtering and updating complex technical knowledge for problem-solving.
  • Tax Expertise: EBS tax experience is mandatory.

Customer Engagement and Industry Knowledge:

  • Demonstrated track record in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to handle complex or sensitive customer situations with diplomacy and tact.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams effectively.
