Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup and Operation:
• Set up injection molding machines according to job specifications, including installing molds, setting temperatures, and adjusting machine parameters.
• Operate machines to produce plastic parts, monitoring the process for quality and efficiency.
• Start up and shut down machines according to established procedures.
• Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality and production rates.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect finished parts for defects, such as flash, short shots, and dimensional inaccuracies.
• Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality data.
• Identify and report any quality issues to supervisors.
• Follow quality control procedures and standards.
