Overview

We are seeking a Smokehouse Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift) to oversee and ensure the proper cooking and chilling of our high-quality Hatfield products. This role involves monitoring smokehouses, troubleshooting deviations, and ensuring FSQA releases. You’ll be responsible for maintaining compliance with company specifications and leading a team in a structured, fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is independent, accountable, and capable of managing a team without excessive micromanagement.

Who You Are

  • A dedicated and flexible leader with at least 1-2 years of supervisory experience in a food industry or manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledgeable in HACCP, SAP, and food safety regulations, ensuring compliance and efficiency in all processes.
  • Transparent and honest, with strong accountability to address deviations and ensure quality standards.
  • Able to work a 2:30 PM start shift (typically 9 hours), ensuring smooth operations with a focus on continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Monitor and supervise all smokehouse cooking and chilling processes to meet company specifications.
  • Lead and develop a team by setting clear expectations, improving standardization, and fostering accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with Standard Sanitary Operating Procedures (SSOP) and food safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot deviations, address issues immediately, and ensure FSQA releases for product quality assurance.
