What will your job look like?
- Learn Astadia products.
- Help keep Java and C# libraries in sync by porting code from Java to C#, or vice versa.
- Help create custom plugins (mostly in Java) for existing tools, to help with project-specific needs
- Work closely with Product teams and release engineering to achieve desired results.
- Thrive in an environment of collaboration and change.
- Education and Experience
- 6+ years of experience with C# development
- BE in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
All you need is....
- 6+ years of experience with C# development
- 2+ years of experience with Java development
- Need to know differences between Java 8, 11, 17 and 21
- Need to know differences between .NET framework and .NET (core), C# 8 – 13
- Interest in learning older languages like COBOL to a certain degree
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and written
- Autonomous and proactive attitude
- High attention to detail
- True passion for development, exhibited by having hobby (= free time) programming projects and keeping up with latest trends
