Job Title: Scrum Master / Business Systems Analyst (BSA)

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Scrum Master / Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our team. This role will support our Machine Learning (ML) Operations and Fraud Detection projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, business analysis, and a passion for leveraging technology to combat fraud.

Key Responsibilities:

Scrum Master Duties:

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles and practices.
  • Remove impediments and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.
  • Responsible for the development of the:
  • Sprint Schedule
  • Sprint Review Report
  • Definition of Ready Report
  • Definition of Done Report
  • Sprint Backlog

Business Systems Analyst Duties:

  • Gather and document business requirements for ML Operations and Fraud Detection projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and insights related to fraud detection.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly.
  • Create and Maintain comprehensive documentation

Project Support:

  • Blockers identified during daily stand-ups will be escalated to the scrum master, product owner, application system manager, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status and any potential risks.
  • Assist in the development and execution of test plans to ensure quality deliverables.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in ML and fraud detection technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Business Systems Analyst in a financial services environment.
  • Strong understanding of ML operations and fraud detection methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with ML tools and technologies (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
