Would you love to work on products that help Sellers set the most competitive prices on Earth for their entire catalog and delight our shared Customers worldwide and influencing Amazon's flywheel? The 3P Pricing org is expanding our presence in India and setting up a new team and is looking for looking for experienced software engineers who are excited to build pricing products for Amazon’s Selling Partners worldwide. Engineers on our team will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying distributed systems and large-scale solutions for Global Sellers.

Our team’s mission is to help Sellers across the world grow their business by offering Customers the best prices on the internet for their entire selection. The core of our strategy is to make it easy for Sellers to match or beat competitor prices. We build products and systems to:

(1) Provide Sellers relevant and actionable data, notifications, and recommendations to optimize pricing decisions

(2) Build tools to facilitate competitive price automation at scale

(3) Build and operate secured, optimized, and scalable systems that empower Selling Partners to achieve pricing objectives.

Key job responsibilities

• As an experienced Software development engineer you will look at problems holistically, and thrive on the intricate complexity of designing feedback loops and ecosystems.
• You will design and implement solutions to real problems that require creative solutions and deep understanding of the problem space.
• You will be challenging yourself and others to constantly come up with better solutions.
• You work closely with the business to define the expansion strategy and figure out innovative solutions to fuel exponential growth of this business.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of building complex software systems experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
