Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Mainframe Quality assurance 

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe QA Engineer with expertise in Mainframe test automation, JCL, DB2, and previous experience in the financial domain. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mainframe applications.

Responsibilities 

• Utilize Mainframe test automation tools to automate test processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand application requirements and design effective test scenarios.
• Perform end-to-end testing of mainframe applications, including batch processing, using JCL and DB2.
• Identify, report, and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve issues.
• Conduct performance testing to validate the application's performance under different workloads.
• Participate in code reviews and provide valuable feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Work closely with cross functional teams to deliver reliable and robust mainframe solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest mainframe testing tools and best practices.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for mainframe applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage 

Qualifications 

Minimum qualifications we seek in you! 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Mainframe test automation experience with JCL, DB2, Financial Domain experience.
• Previous experience working in the financial domain is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with batch processing and data management in mainframe environments.

Preferred qualifications 

 Banking / Capital Markets domain experience. 

 Good Communication and leadership skills. 

 Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 

 Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ISTQB, Java certifications) are a plus.
