What You Will Do:

• Research, Develop and Implement Methods for data extraction, integration, and transformation to inform business decisions, realize cost savings, reduce risk, and generate operational efficiencies
• Support Delivery of Business Intelligence to the company via report design and development and the implementation BI systems
• Collaborate with peers, management and/or internal business unit representatives as appropriate to design, develop, and implement data-oriented business solutions
• Design, build, and oversee maintenance of data systems
• Document key data processes, data flow diagrams, and maintain code repository
• Provide mentorship and support to the Data Engineer I role, act as a peer-resource to share knowledge and cross train
• Improve data reliability and quality
• Apply continuous learning to gain knowledge of best practices, current and emerging development trends and techniques to application development

What You Bring: 

• Ability to communicate clearly to various levels within the organization.
• General knowledge and understanding of the financial services and/or information technology industries is required
• Possesses intermediate knowledge in the fields of data science, database design, data analytics and/or business information systems
• Advanced-level familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel)
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Resiliency and ability to work in a highly time-sensitive environment
• Adaptability and comfort with periodic change
• Ability to work independently to gather information

Education Level Education Details Required/Preferred

Bachelor's Degree Information technology, data, business information systems, analytics, or related field (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred. Required

Experience Level Experience Details Required/Preferred

3-5 years SQL database design, SSIS, SSRS Required

1-3 years Experience with Python and GitHub (or equivalent) Preferred

1-3 years Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies Preferred

Pay Range: $71,000 - $107,000/YR
