We are delighted to offer an opportunity within our "Digital Investment Advice" squad, a diverse team of IT professionals. We embrace new technologies and well-informed decision-making to create solutions we are proud of. Development-related work concerning investments at Danske Bank is managed within the Retail Investment Tribe, which consists of approximately 180 members. The Tribe is organised into squads—cross-functional teams of about ten people from business and IT, each focused on a specific goal.

We thrive in a cooperative work atmosphere that values a collaborative structure and encourages open dialogue. We are currently seeking a skilled engineer who combines expertise in development with mentoring skills for our junior team members.

Our efforts focus on two key areas:

1. Developing a sophisticated web application tailored for investment advisers, featuring functionalities such as portfolio risk calculations and analysis of diversification, sustainability, and tax.
2. Enhancing our clients’ mobile experience by providing detailed portfolio analyses within our mobile banking app.

At our squad, developers are encouraged to broaden their skills and participate in various initiatives, promoting continuous professional growth and innovation. You will:

You will be working closely with experienced Developers, Product Owner, BA specialists, DevOps and Test Automation specialist to build and maintain solid future-proof Investment solutions in Wealth Planning and Investments Tribe.

To be more precise your responsibilities will include:

• Work daily within your dedicated squad, developing new investment services and features
• Be an integral part of your .NET Chapter (a technical guild), staying updated with the latest tooling, frameworks, and methodologies within the .NET landscape
• Engage in all phases of application development—from design and building to deployment, operation, and maintenance
• Take responsibility for ensuring high-quality solutions, both through your work and through guiding your team members
• Critically evaluate our processes

About you:

• 2+ years of experience in developing applications using .NET
• Experience with MS SQL or similar relational databases
• Ability to write clean and testable code
• Knowledge of software design patterns
• Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Docker, RabbitMQ, CI/CD, AWS, OpenShift is valuable
• Experience working agilely in close collaboration with business and designers
• Upper-Intermediate English communication skills, both written and spoken

Monthly salary range from 3520 EUR to 5280 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).
