The North America Stores Regionalization team at Amazon is looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Product Manager - Tech to lead a project with strategic significance and high exposure within our Regionalization program, shaping the future of Amazon's regional offer discovery and fulfillment strategy to help customers shop for relevant, fast shipping products optimally placed close to them. This role will lead the development of regionally-aware shopping experiences that intelligently tailor product offerings based on customer location. By driving regionally-aware shopping experiences and order fulfillment policies, you’ll enable Amazon stores to improve product delivery speeds, expand customer purchase choice, and minimize waste from long-distance shipments, directly enhancing customer satisfaction while reducing costs. Your work will integrate seamlessly into the Amazon store, empowering customers to discover regionally tailored selection based on their location, driving improvements to Amazon’s P&L through significant cost-to-serve reductions via reduced shipping costs.

This role offers opportunity to develop expertise across Amazon’s retail foundations, fulfillment operations, and customer-facing design, intersecting Amazon’s core businesses and supporting infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with business and technical acumen and a passion to innovate on behalf of customers. The role entails managing cross-functional communication, identifying and mitigating business risks, and decomposing ambiguous problems into workable plans. You will lead execution across multiple teams and partners while owning Regionalization programs across North America Stores. Additionally, you will drive 3-year planning and strategy documents, and partner closely with a dedicated team of scientists and engineers to build your product vision. You will be successful in this role if:

• Set the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that impacts the customer experience and delivers incremental value to your business.
• Work with business leaders, scientists, engineers, and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of infrastructure services and customer experiences at scale.
• Work on a variety of challenging problems that have the potential to significantly impact Amazon’s business and customer experience.
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features.
• Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.
• Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve goals.

We are an interdisciplinary team of Product Managers, Engineers, and Scientists incubating and building day-one solutions to solve some of the toughest business problems at Amazon. From machine learning to generative AI, we leverage state-of-the-art technology to power our solutions. Our work directly impacts customer satisfaction through faster deliveries and location-aware product offerings while simultaneously improving Amazon’s cost structure through more efficient offer discovery and fulfillment strategies. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
• Experience managing technical products or online services
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
• Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience with end to end product delivery

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
• Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
