About the location:

Purpose 

To analyze & collect data to evaluate existing and potential target market segments, whilst monitoring competitors and researching market conditions that effect the Sales & Catering process. To implement, lead and action the general administration functions of the Sales & Marketing Division. To facilitate and develop relationships with Identified business segments. 

Job Responsibilities 

General 

  • Assist the Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing to coordinate daily, weekly and monthly Sales activities and handle Sales visits. 
  • Assist the Conference Services Manager in the coordination of group’s stay, special celebrations and banqueting events. 
  • Preparation of Sales, Corporate and Intelligence reports as when required. 
  • Responsible for the proper administration of the department’s monthly, quarterly and yearly expenses. 
  • Champion the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the Golden Sales & Catering as per Four Seasons standard. Creatively educating, monitoring and coaching Golden S&C users to ensure procedures and features maximize marketing and sales opportunities. 
  • Provide administrative support (including preparation of travel arrangements) as required by the Director of Sales /Director of Marketing. 
  • Plan the stay of Travel Agents and Group planners at the resort 
  • Assist the Conference Services Manager in the preparation and coordination of catering events. 

Departmental 

  • Implement office standards and procedures maintaining the Marketing office in a neat and orderly manner in accordance with company guidelines and providing leadership to the Marketing Division coordinators and secretaries. 
  • Answer telephones and take messages for the Marketing Division adhering to Four Seasons standards. 
  • Assist customer, guests and Hotel personnel with s.e.r.v.i.c.e. focus in the absence of the Director of Marketing. 
  • Promptly and fully inform the Director of Sales/Director of Marketing of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to the employee’s attention so prompt corrective action can be taken. 
  • Be informed as with regards both daily hotel activities and hotel promotions. 
  • Assist in any project assigned by the Director of Sales/Director of Marketing or Hotel Management. 
  • Perform any other cognate duties as and when required 
  • Special Requirements 
  • A diploma or degree in hospitality management or marketing from a recognized institution. 
  • 2 years’ experience in similar position. 
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English & French languages. 
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office. Opera and Delphi Systems will be an advantage. 
  • Organized with administrative skills.
