TechStyleOS is looking for a Senior Linux Systems Administrator.

How Do you fit in:

TechStyleOS is seeking an experienced Sr Linux System Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi–disciplined environment. As the Sr Linux Admin, you will be ensuring that our production environment works optimally by deploying, maintaining, monitoring, and operating a large fleet of predominantly Linux servers. The candidate should be a subject matter expert in the configuration, operation, and administration of Windows/Linux, VMware, Active Directory, Dell, UCS (Preferred), Veeam, Pure & NetApp environments. 

This position would report to the IT Ops Manager.

What you will be doing:

• Assist in administration all Linux, virtual infrastructure & storage environments 
• Work independently or as a team in troubleshooting production incidents & outages 
• Work independently or as a team on Infrastructure & Security related projects tasks 
• Partner with application owners & vendors on planning/deploying virtual infrastructure & managing the Linux servers life cycle (build, deploy, update, decom) 
• As an SME, review environment & recommend new technologies, solutions & automations 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to 1st and 2nd level system administrators 
• Assist with project tasks & data center maintenances onsite at our El Segundo Data Center

What you can bring:

• Linux subject matter expert with 7+ years of experience in supporting large scale Linux VMware environments (1000+ servers)
• 5+ years of Active Directory Administration 
• 5+ years of Storage Administration of NetApp/Pure 
• 5+ years of Cisco UCS Administration 
• 5+ years of Data Center Administration 
• 3+ years of AWS/Azure Administration 
• 3+ years of Scripting w/ PowerShell/Bash/Python
• Demonstrates methodical and logical thinking while efficiently self-managing tasks 
• You can clearly explain your thoughts through written and verbal communication, ask the right questions, and are not afraid to propose & debate strategies 
• Senior knowledge of Linux Kernel internals, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes
• Senior knowledge of virtualization, storage, security, and networking best practices
• Demonstrates methodical and logical thinking while efficiently self-managing tasks
• You can clearly explain your thoughts through written and verbal communication, ask the right questions, and are not afraid to propose & debate strategies

The annual base salary range for this position is from $116,000 to $130,000. Offers to candidates are expected to fall within this range and will depend on the scope and complexity of the role, work experience, subject matter expertise, work location and other relevant factors.
