FactSet is hiring a skilled Software Engineer for its Design System team in São Paulo, Brazil. This team, part of the Client Experience and Engagement Engineering department, focuses on providing tools for creating modern, consistent user interfaces. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance developer efficiency and improve solutions for FactSet's clients. Key projects include developing the Design System component library, improving data grids and charting, and integrating

generative AI.

In this role, you will:

• Develop software solutions using TypeScript and Vue.js.
• Work with product managers, designers, and developers to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle for efficient delivery.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and compliance.
• Stay informed about web development trends and technologies.
• Work Hybrid at least 2 days per week

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of professional web application development experience.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and frameworks like Vue or React.
• Must have Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Highly Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
• Strong foundations in HTML, CSS, JS, and WAI-ARIA.
• Experience with NodeJS, build tools, automated testing, CI/CD, cloud providers, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with open-source projects.
• Passion for empowering developers.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
